La Cour du Corbeau Strabourg, a MGallery Collection hotel, has earned TripAdvisor’s 2014 "Travelers' Choice Awards", ranking them among the top 25 hotels in France. TripAdvisor compiles this list every year, based on traveler feedback and scores. La Cour du Corbeau in Strasbourg earns the award for the second year running, and makes the 14th place on the ranking. La Cour du Corbeau, a listed historical monument since 1930, was TripAdvisor’s “Best Hotel in France” in 2013, and remains on its quest for excellence this year. Almost hidden amid the alleys in downtown Strasbourg, a stone’s throw from Notre-Dame Cathedral, this hotel in a class by itself. This exclusive spot, nestled beyond a 16th-century courtyard, spans 10 buildings arranged around passageways, walkways, nooks and staircases. Over the past five centuries, this erstwhile Alsatian inn has housed illustrious VIPs such as Frédéric II, Voltaire, the Maréchal de Turenne and others, as well as their secrets. The hotel’s 57 spacious rooms and majestic suites radiate 16th century’s atmospheres while providing up-to-the-minute comfort. The contemporary and romantic décor in the rooms is peppered with classical furniture, for example including Louis XV armchairs clad in mauve, pink and grey upholstery. Several of the mansard-roofed bedrooms exude timeless charm. “Many customers ask us about the history of the hotel and its previous owners,” says La Cour du Corbeau’s General Manager Anne Gerber. And, to answer their questions, everyone on the team has been briefed on the building’s past. “Telling La Cour du Corbeau’s story is part of the successful — and memorable — guest experience that the MGallery Collection pledges,” she rounds up.

Two new establishments in Thailand
3/10/10The MGallery collection, already boasting the prestigious VIE Hotel in Bangkok, has added two new resort hotels, the Veranda Resort & Spa Hua Hin and Veranda High Resort Chiang Mai, to its portfolio.
The MGallery collection, already boasting the prestigious VIE Hotel in Bangkok, has added two new resort hotels, the Veranda Resort & Spa Hua Hin and Veranda High Resort Chiang Mai, to its portfolio. The Veranda Resort & Spa Hua Hin, with its modern Asian architecture, enjoys a magnificent seaside location close to the traditional resort destinations of Cha Am and Hua Hin, frequented by the Thai aristocracy since the start of the century. Its 118 rooms and 9 villas offer a resolutely modern layout which capitalises on the hotel's surroundings and offers guests bright and airy spaces, some of them open air. The Veranda has two restaurants: the "Dining room" restaurant has a menu of Thai and western dishes which it serves daily. The "I Sea" waterfront restaurant will offer modern local cuisine with a seafood base. In addition to its cuisine, the hotel has a spa, swimming pool, 2 bars and a vast range of activities to make sure your stay is a memorable one. In the north of Thailand, Chiang Mai, a city rich in heritage, is today still known as the Capital of the Lanna Kingdom which was founded in the 13th century by King Mengrai. A few kilometres from the city of Chiang Mai, the Veranda High Resort Chiang Mai hotel is a veritable retreat in the heart of the mountains. Although of a resolutely modern design, the hotel has taken its inspiration from its natural surroundings. Separated from the outside world by a wall of the old city of Chiang Mai, the hotel is a peaceful haven, ideal for a relaxing stay in the heart of the surrounding mountains. Modern and traditional oriental styles come together to offer guests a taste of the different facets of Lanna's rich culture in a peaceful setting away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. With its own spa, pool, fitness centre, library, meeting rooms and a myriad of cultural activities, guests can travel without leaving Chiang Mai. And the Veranda High Resort Chiang Mai has a unique, intense character which subtly draws on the "rich simplicity" of its surrounding landscape.
